The Academic Council is one of the most effective body which looks after the academic planning and academic growth of the institution. Academic council facilities effective management of teaching, learning and evaluation and to monitor and maintain congenial academic atmosphere in the college.

1. Principal - Chairman
2. Academic Bursar - Member (Ex-Officio)
3. Senior most teacher in-Charge Exam. - Member (Ex-Officio)
4. Six Teachers - Nominate by the Principal (3 From Arts and 3 from Science)

Functions:-
1. The academic council monitors the different programmer of teaching and learning and sees that institution facilities the effective running of the teaching-learning programmes.
2. The council conceived plan for monitoring progress.
3. The academic council is an open and participative mechanism for evaluation of teaching, research and work satisfaction of the faculty.
4. The academic council ensures that for each class test are held as per the schedule routine.
5. The academic council calls quarterly meeting with the H.O.D. prepares reports for each department and submits its reports to the Principal for discussion in the staff council.
6. The academic council looks after the regularity of classes and ensures that syllabi are completed in time.
7. The council is to meet at least once in a month to discuss about the matters related to academic problem etc.
8. The academic council does the work of receiving student feedback annually from examination section and report to the Principal who holds parleys over these feedbacks with the faculties to improve upon the overall academic quality on the Institution.
